Bio Vaccine (Biological Root Protectant Fungicide)

Bio Vaccine is a liquid formulation containing Trichoderma viride. Trchoderma spp. are fungi which colonize near the plant roots (Rhizosphere) and attach, parasitize and gain nutrition from pathogenic fungi. It grows toward hyphae of disease causing fungi such as Phythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Botrytis, Sclerotium etc coils about them and degrade the cellwall of the pathogenic fungi by secretion of different enzymes. Thiss process (mycolarasitism) limits growth and activity of above mentioned pathogenic fungi. Bio Vaccine by inducing systemic resistance [ISR] protects plant root from pathogens and permits a stronger, healthier root system by suppressing pathogenic fungi that causes root rot, stem rot, seed rot etc. Trichoderma viride is isolated from Sri Lankan soils and Bio Vaccine is manufactured in Sri Lanka.
